WiHQP reviewed in Nature

Our book, Women in the History of Quantum Physics, has been (mostly positively) reviewed in various outlets over the last six months. On its own, that’s quite an accomplishment. According to our publisher, it’s increasingly rare for such a book to attract multiple reviews. Yesterday came an ever rarer treat: a review in Nature. As our colleague historian Indianara Lima Silva concludes: “The 16 quantum women subverted not only Knabenphysik itself, but also the conventional quantum historians who, for many reasons, could not see them. They lost a lot. As has the history of quantum physics. This arresting book shows that writing about women is learning about history, culture — and quantum physics.” Thanks to everyone who made this work possible!
